Trade fairs in China

China has a large manufacturing economy, and its trade fairs are organized to match: exhibition centers in Shanghai and the Pearl River Delta, where international buyers meet suppliers of machinery, electronics, energy equipment and consumer goods.

China's economy is built on manufacturing, and its fairs reflect it. The country produces machinery, electronics, vehicles, textiles and energy equipment at industrial scale, and its fairs bring together manufacturers, suppliers and buyers. Fairs in this field are listed under industry and manufacturing. Beijing is the political capital and Shanghai the financial center, while the Pearl River Delta in the south is known for electronics. Yiwu is known for small commodities and wholesale trade.

Shanghai is a major port and financial city with two airports. The Shanghai New International Expo Centre hosts shows such as bauma CHINA for construction machinery, FHC Shanghai Global Food Trade Show for food and beverage, and EP Shanghai for the electric power chain. China Gifts Home Expo Shanghai covers gifts, cultural and creative products and household goods in November.

Guangdong is the southern manufacturing province. Shenzhen, next to Hong Kong, is known for electronics and technology companies, and the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center hosts many of its shows. China Hi-Tech Fair and Industrial Tech World Asia belong to this circuit, as does C-TOUCH & DISPLAY Shenzhen for touch and display technology. Guangzhou and Zhuhai complete the delta.
