Trade fairs in Thailand

Thailand combines manufacturing, agriculture and tourism at the center of mainland Southeast Asia, and its trade fair activity is concentrated in Bangkok. The shows range from machine tools and cosmetic ingredients to games and amusement parks, mostly for trade visitors.

Thailand's economy rests on manufacturing, agriculture and tourism. Automotive and electronics production, food processing and a developed service sector make it an important production base inside ASEAN. Bangkok is the capital, the main business city and the setting for the fairs on this page, with Suvarnabhumi Airport as the principal international gateway. The city has its own page: Bangkok.

Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center and Queen Sirikit National Convention Center host most shows, and hotels take some conferences. Industry comes first: METALEX presents machine tools and metalworking technology to manufacturers from across ASEAN, and Asia CanTech gathers can makers, fillers and their suppliers. More fairs of this kind are collected under industry fairs in Thailand.

Technology and entertainment form a second group. DigiTech ASEAN Thailand is a platform on digital solutions for business, hosted by two Thai government ministries, and gamescom asia combines a business area for games professionals with an area for players and fans. Readers following the sector can continue with technology fairs in Thailand or leisure and hobby fairs in Thailand.

Beauty, health, leisure and pet trades follow. in-cosmetics Asia focuses on personal care and cosmetic ingredients, AMWC Southeast Asia pairs a scientific program on aesthetic medicine with an exhibition, TAAPE serves amusement and attraction parks, and Pet Fair South East Asia is a business fair for the pet industry. Most of these events are reserved for professionals.
