Education and careers, from campus to employer

Education and career fairs connect schools, universities, training providers and employers with students, job seekers and learning professionals. Some are consumer events aimed at families, others are trade events on education technology, and most are held in October and November.

The sector covers schools, universities, study abroad, training, recruitment and job fairs, and education technology. Two audiences share it. Families and students attend consumer fairs to compare institutions and destinations abroad, while teachers, training managers and recruiters attend trade fairs to buy learning technology and find candidates. Technology-led events overlap with the technology and innovation sector, which has its own page.

Najah Expo Dubai puts universities and education providers in direct contact with prospective students and their families, and Tawdheef in Abu Dhabi connects Emirati job seekers with employers who are hiring. The United Arab Emirates hub lists the Emirati calendar. EduExpo Kazakhstan in Almaty brings foreign universities together with schoolchildren, teachers and parents, and EuroPosgrados in Mexico City is dedicated to postgraduate studies in Europe.

QSE Overseas Property, Immigration and Study Expo in Shanghai is aimed at families planning a life abroad, and the China hub lists related events. In London, Retrain Expo targets people changing careers and employers seeking training support, and Cyber Security EXPO is a recruitment event for cyber security professionals.

Education technology has its own circuit. EDUtech Asia in Singapore is a conference and exhibition on education and learning technology, SIMO Educación in Madrid is organized by IFEMA, and DevLearn in Las Vegas addresses professionals who design, develop and manage learning in organizations. The Germany and Italy hubs list their own education fairs.
