Trade fairs in Pakistan

Pakistan is a large South Asian economy with agriculture, textiles, energy and light industry at its core. Its trade fairs are held mostly in Lahore, with a smaller presence in Islamabad, and they target manufacturers, traders and utilities.

Pakistan has a large population and an economy based on agriculture, textiles, manufacturing and energy. Trade fairs are mainly business-to-business and aimed at buyers of machinery, tools and technical equipment. Lahore, in the province of Punjab, is the center of that activity, and Expo Centre Lahore hosts nearly every event. Machine Tools & Hardware covers hardware, tools and technical equipment.

Industry comes first. ITIF Asia is an international trade and industrial fair for machinery, tools and equipment, organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan and held once a year, and Engineering Asia covers heavy and light engineering, raw materials and related services. Fluid Pump Asia deals with fluid machinery and control equipment. Visitors can follow the industry fairs of Pakistan across all of them.

Energy and utilities form the second group. Oil & Gas Asia presents technology and machinery for the sector, and Power & Alternative Energy Asia deals with generation, transmission and energy saving. These are collected on the energy and environment page for the country. Both are held in November in Lahore.

Other industries complete the calendar. Islamabad, the capital, holds Pak Water & Energy Expo, a trade exhibition and conference on water and energy utilities, and Mines Minerals & Metal Asia in Lahore serves the mining and metals trades. All of these fairs are held in November.
