Trade fairs in Guangdong

Guangdong is a southern Chinese province with a large manufacturing base, built around the Pearl River Delta. Shenzhen is known for electronics and technology, and fairs are also held in Guangzhou and Zhuhai.

Guangdong is a southern province whose economy rests on export manufacturing. Around the Pearl River Delta, factories make electronics, appliances, plastics, textiles and packaging, and supply chains reach across the border to Hong Kong and Macau. Its fairs in this field are listed under industry and manufacturing.

Shenzhen is the technology city of the province, and China Hi-Tech Fair there in November presents commercial products and scientific and technological results. The Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center hosts electronics and industrial shows such as NEPCON ASIA, which connects technology providers with buyers in electronics manufacturing, and Industrial Tech World Asia. The China (Shenzhen) International Logistics and Supply Chain Fair, held in December, serves the logistics sector, and DMP Greater Bay Area Industrial Expo in November focuses on the machinery industry. Materials have their place too, with FILM & TAPE EXPO for functional films and adhesive tapes, and a circuit exhibition for printed circuit boards and electronics assembly.

Guangzhou, the provincial capital, is a trading city of the delta. Its fairgrounds host events as varied as the ASGA Asia-Pacific Screen Printing and Digital Intelligent Printing Expo and the China International Silver Industry Exhibition, which addresses elderly care. Zhuhai, on the coast, hosts regional shows at the Tianmu Qintai Conference and Exhibition Center.
