South America, from São Paulo to the Andes

South America's trade fairs follow the continent's strengths in agriculture, energy, mobility and health. São Paulo, Bogotá and Santiago host many of the shows in Brazil, Colombia and Chile.

South America combines large commodity economies with a growing industrial base. Brazil is a major economy with agriculture, mining, automotive manufacturing and energy at its center, Colombia is known for coffee and flowers, and Chile for copper. São Paulo is the main business city of Brazil.

São Paulo Expo hosts industry shows tied to the Brazilian economy. Fenatran serves road freight transport, BFSHOW presents Brazilian footwear to retailers and Brazil Windpower follows the wind energy sector. In the Northeast, Hotel & Food Nordeste in Olinda covers lodging and food service, and the Semana Internacional do Café in Belo Horizonte mixes an exhibition with a conference on coffee.

Colombia has exhibition venues in Corferias in Bogotá, Plaza Mayor in Medellín and Puerta de Oro in Barranquilla. ExpoSolar Colombia covers solar energy, energy efficiency and electric mobility, the Gran Salón Ferretero serves the hardware trade of the northern part of the continent, and AMWC Latin America is a medical congress with an exhibition on aesthetic and anti-aging medicine in Medellín. Autofest in Barranquilla is a consumer car show where dealers, vehicle brands and financial institutions present cars, motorcycles and bicycles to the public.

Chile has its capital Santiago, which hosts ExpoNaval at Espacio Riesco, an international naval and maritime exhibition for Latin America. The main sector pages for the region are Mobility & Transport and Energy & Environment.
