Functional Fabric Fair USA
North America, three economies and one fair circuit
North America brings together the United States, Canada and Mexico, three closely linked economies. Trade fairs here range from large industry shows to regional consumer markets.
The United States anchors the continent as a business destination. Its economy spans manufacturing, technology, agriculture, energy, entertainment and services, and its major cities each carry a role: Las Vegas is built around conventions and hospitality, Chicago is a transport and manufacturing crossroads, and New York is a center of finance, media and fashion. The three countries of the continent are linked by a shared trade agreement and by dense air routes.
Las Vegas hosts the automotive aftermarket gathering AAPEX and SupplySide Global, a trade show and education program for ingredients used in dietary supplements, food and beverages, both for professionals. Florida adds IAAPA Expo in Orlando for the amusement industry and the in-water Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Minneapolis also has a convention center that hosts manufacturing events, while the United States page lists the full national picture.
Canada offers a bilingual setting, with exhibition activity in Montreal and Toronto. Toronto stages the craft market One Of A Kind Show and the construction event The Buildings Show. Mexico City is the capital of Mexico, which has a substantial manufacturing base, and Plastimagen México, held in November, serves the plastics industry in Mexico and the wider Latin American region.
Sector coverage is wide. Leisure, Industry & Manufacturing and Mobility & Transport are among the families represented, and the marine trades appear through the International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans, a trade-only conference and exposition for the commercial marine industry. Wholesale gift buyers are served by IGES in Pigeon Forge, held in November, a trade show for souvenirs, resort merchandise and specialty gifts.
