Overview
Deepwater Operations is a conference and exhibition on the development and operation of offshore oil and gas fields, organized by Endeavor Business Media and held once a year. It is co-located with the Topsides, Platforms and Hulls conference and shares an exhibit hall with it.
An advisory board of industry professionals selects the topics of the Deepwater Operations program, from maintenance and platform life extension to flow assurance, safety systems, asset integrity and regulation. The companion conference deals with how offshore production platforms are designed, built and delivered, from floating production systems and mooring to installation and decommissioning.
No proceedings are published and journalists do not attend the sessions. Participants can earn Professional Development Hours credits, and a fishing tournament offers an informal networking event.
