chem2Dmat is an international scientific conference on the chemistry of two-dimensional materials, organized by Phantoms Foundation. It covers the synthesis of these materials and their functionalization by covalent and non-covalent approaches.

The program is organized in sessions on synthesis, processing and multiscale characterization, bottom-up growth, synthetic two-dimensional materials and the design of 3D functional materials from layered systems. Applications discussed include composites, coatings, membranes, sensing, catalysis, energy conversion and storage, electronics, nanomedicine and biomaterials.

The conference features keynote, invited and oral talks, posters and awards. A small exhibition and sponsorship program lets companies and research organizations present their products and technology to the graphene and 2D materials community.
