England, between London and the Midlands

England holds the political and financial center of the United Kingdom and many of its exhibition centers. Its trade fairs run from London's services and travel shows to the engineering, metals and land-based events of the Midlands.

England is the most populous of the four nations. London anchors finance, law, media and tourism, the Midlands carry the engineering and metalworking tradition. Rail lines radiate from London, and Heathrow, Gatwick and Birmingham Airport connect the country to the rest of the world.

London hosts shows aimed at service professions. WTM London addresses the travel and tourism industry, The Business Show London small and medium-sized businesses, and London Build the construction trades. The London Vet Show pairs a training program with suppliers, and the European Pizza Show serves restaurant and hospitality buyers. The venues are ExCeL London in the east, Olympia London in the west and several conference centers in between. The Paper & Tissue Show London serves the paper, hygiene and packaging industries. Contact Centre & CX Expo serves customer operations teams, and B2B Marketing Live combines a conference program with an exhibitor village. More is on the page for London.

Birmingham offers the other pole. The NEC sits beside the airport and a mainline station. Advanced Engineering and UK Metals Expo serve industrial buyers, SALTEX the grounds management trade, and the Festive Good Food Show a consumer public. The page for Birmingham gathers these.

Smaller towns also host regional events, notably Harrogate in Yorkshire and Coventry in the Midlands. By theme, the industry and manufacturing and technology and innovation fairs fairs gather suppliers, and the food and hospitality shows serve the catering trade.
