Warsaw Industry Week
Warsaw, a capital that doubles as a fair city
Warsaw is the Polish capital, the seat of the government and a business center. Its exhibition calendar centers on industry, logistics, retail, energy and construction technology, with professional shows concentrated in the autumn and winter months.
Warsaw stands on the Vistula in the middle of the country. It is the seat of the government and the central institutions, and Chopin Airport and the rail network link it with the rest of Europe. The page for industry and manufacturing lists related events.
Ptak Warsaw Expo hosts many of the city's fairs, with EXPO XXI Warsaw and Arena COS Torwar taking a smaller share. Industrial events include Warsaw Industry Week for machinery and production equipment, and to PLASTECNICA Expo for plastics processing, automation and mold design. SAKRALIA Expo Poland serves the church sector, from parishes and dioceses to religious orders and shrines, and is held in November. TransLogistica Poland covers transport, logistics and the supply chain.
Building, safety and energy form another group. FireProtection Expo is devoted to detection, extinguishing, smoke control and the digital tools used to design fire safety systems, while Decarbonisation Expo Poland deals with zero emissions and sustainable energy management. These themes connect to the Polish pages for construction and architecture and energy and environment.
Fuel retail and vehicle care are followed at FUEL STATION Expo and CAR-WASH Tech Expo, both held in December. Retail suppliers and chains meet at RetailShow, and Go Active Show brings sports and fitness to a wider public. Most dates fall between November and March.
