Internationale Modellbahn-Ausstellung Friedrichshafen

Internationale Modellbahn-Ausstellung Friedrichshafen is an exhibition for model railway fans, organized by Messe Sinsheim and held every two years. Visitors can see layouts built by clubs and enthusiasts in scales ranging from the large garden gauges down to gauge Z, and can buy from trade exhibitors.

Alongside the layouts, visitors can follow a model railway forum, join workshops and take part in hands-on activities. The exhibition takes place at the same time as Faszination Modellbau, a model-making fair, and the Echtdampf-Hallentreffen, a meeting of live steam models.

Manufacturers, dealers and publishers of model railways, rolling stock, tracks, miniature buildings, vehicles and figures, electronics and software, together with model railway clubs and layout builders.

Model railway hobbyists and collectors, families with children and young people, and modelers looking for new products, as well as club members and retailers following the trade.
