Familienmesse

Familienmesse is a consumer fair for the whole family, where visitors find practical products and gift ideas and can browse and shop. Klagenfurter Messe organizes it once a year, and together with the parallel Brauchtumsmesse the show covers around 25,000 square meters of exhibition space.

The fair is arranged in theme areas: art and hobby, Senior Aktiv, Family & Co and Carinthian folk culture. Several stages host a live program, and children's activities and advice for young families are part of the offer.

The Brauchtumsmesse presents the living traditions of Carinthia together with the culture department of the provincial government. Choirs, folk music groups, hunting-horn players and brass bands perform, and the program includes costume fashion shows, demonstrations of traditional crafts and regional food specialties.

Baby equipment and children's fashion suppliers, toy and game sellers, child seat makers, counseling and childcare services, hobby artists, craft and Christmas decoration makers, senior services from travel and safety to housing, fashion and elderly care, and folk culture associations with traditional costume and art makers.
