FAME Week Africa is a business-to-business event for the African creative industries, bringing together co-located events focused on film, television, animation, music, fashion and entertainment technology. It is organized by RX in partnership with the host city and takes place once a year.
The week is made up of MIP Africa, a market for film, television and digital content distribution and co-production, Muziki Africa for the music industry, the African Fashion Forum, and the FAME Shorts Film Festival.
The program combines a market, a conference with content sessions, an exhibition, music showcases, film screenings and networking, and includes an invitation-only hosted buyer program.
